Fortiva is structurally identical to the Aspire Cash Back Rewards Mastercard — same category bonuses on gas, groceries, and utilities, same flat baseline elsewhere, same fee escalation, same APR at the regulatory ceiling, same foreign transaction fee.

Same critique as Aspire: the fee structure assumes high category spend to clear, and at this APR, any revolving balance erases rewards quickly. The card works only for people in the fair-credit range who can't qualify for better-priced options and who pay in full. Realistic alternative: Mission Lane Cash Back at no annual fee with a flat baseline — if that approves you, it earns more over any reasonable spend horizon.
