A variant of the Quicksilver positioned for the Good credit tier rather than Excellent/Good. Same flat cash-back rate, same Capital One Travel bonus on hotels and rental cars, no annual fee, no foreign transaction fees. The differences: no welcome bonus, no 0% intro APR, and a higher fixed APR.

The lack of a welcome bonus is the meaningful gap. The flagship Quicksilver offers a low-bar welcome bonus that's among the cheapest to clear on the market. If your credit profile lets you apply for the main Quicksilver, do that instead. If you're constrained to this version because of credit history, the math still works — but plan to graduate to the unsecured Quicksilver line within a year or so to capture the missing benefits.
