Same Avant credit profile as the base card, but with an annual fee and a flat baseline cash back. The math: you'd need to spend a meaningful amount each year just to break even on the fee through rewards alone — meaning the rewards aren't really rewards, they're a partial fee rebate.

The APR is identical to the no-fee Avant Card, which makes the trade-up to this version basically a tax on the feeling of earning something. If you're paying in full and using the card lightly to build credit, the no-fee Avant Card costs less. If you can qualify for anything else — Capital One Platinum, Mission Lane Cash Back, even a secured card with rewards — you're almost certainly better off there.
